Engulfed in sadness, she fell asleep one night while hugging the blade her brother used to disembowel himself. Suddenly, a deity named Byakko appeared in her dreams, informing her that Aizu would eventually lose the war and bestowed upon her a mission: “With this gun, please prevent the ‘Tragedy of the Youth’ from ever taking place. If you accomplish this, I shall grant any wish of yours on the following dawn.” Upon awakening, her brother’s blade had transformed into a gun.
